This piece is made from a magnificent Shetland Tweed by Abraham Moon in a navy, blue, brown Guncheck pattern on a beige background.

The cut is loose and comfortable, as it should be for a winter jacket. This jacket is made in our Italian workshop in Tuscany, and is fully canvassed.

Abraham Moon - Tweed

Founded in 1837 by Abraham Moon in Leeds, UK, it is one of the last manufacturers to vertically integrate wool production. It has survived all the crises of the 20th and 21st centuries, and the fourth generation is still at the helm!
The fabric manufacturing process begins with the arrival of wool bales. They are then dyed (500 possible colors). These colors are then blended, with up to seven different ones for a single yarn. Next, these yarns are carded, which involves untangling and aerating textile fibers from various raw materials. Then comes the spinning stage. This is followed by warping, weaving, washing, milling, and finally, finishing.
