Every made to measure suit is a personal project that begins with a discussion. We discuss your needs, personal style and the type of suit you are looking for. We then advise you on the choice of cloth, cut and various details. Your measurements are taken to create a personal pattern, and the suit is then made in our workshop in Tuscany. 6-8 weeks later we will invite you for a fitting. Any alteration necessary is taken care of in our in-house atelier situated in the same building as the shop in Paris. Your personal pattern is updated and kept on file to facilitate future commissions.

We offer a selection of over 10,000 fabrics in store, suited to a variety of styles, seasons and occasions. We work exclusively with high-quality cloths, sourced primarily from British and Italian cloth merchants and weavers, including Loro Piana, Zegna, Huddersfield New Fine Worsted, Fox Brothers and Maison Hellard.

Yes. Every detail is decided with you during your appointment, from the shoulder line and lapel width to the trouser cut, pockets, buttons and other finishing touches. The cut and proportions are also adapted to your physique and the way you intend to wear your suit.

A made-to-measure suit can be created in a wide range of styles, formal to more casual. We will guide you through the process of creating a classic everyday suit, a more casual option, or an outfit for a special occasion, such as a wedding or formal event.

Ardentes Clipei welcomes you to 46 Rue de Provence in Paris’s 9th arrondissement to create your made-to-measure suit. During your appointment, we guide you through the choice of fabric, cut and details. Your suit is then crafted in Italy according to your personal pattern and stylistic preferences.

Please allow approximately 8–12 weeks for production. Each suit is made specifically for its client in our workshop in Tuscany, and lead times may vary depending on fabric availability and the timing of your order. We will confirm the estimated timeline when you place your order.

For weddings, we strongly recommend allowing at least 4 months from placing your order to receiving your finished suit. This gives us sufficient time for production, fittings and any necessary alterations, ensuring that every detail is carefully considered and that your suit is ready well ahead of the occasion. We encourage you to plan ahead and book your initial appointment early, so that the entire process can unfold at a comfortable pace, without unnecessary time pressure.
