The bespoke shirt

Bannière chemise sur mesure Paris – Ardentes Clipei

A custom shirt is a unique piece, made exclusively for you.

Cut to your measurements and to your taste, a beautiful shirt is one of the most versatile items in your wardrobe.
It is a piece that can be worn with ease in any situation. We make shirts to accompany your suits or to complete
more casual outfits, offering a wide variety of collars and style options.

Our approach to shirt measurement is identical to that of a tailor: everything starts with the fabric. We work closely
with Thomas Mason and Albini, as well as Canclini, Caccioppoli, Grandi & Rubinelli, Loro Piana, Soktas, Alumo, and Carlo Riva.

Cotton, linen & silk

The composition, weight, and type of weave all play a role in choosing the most suitable shirt fabric for your use and desired style. Our shirts are made from cotton, linen, and silk.

In our dedicated fabric library, you will discover a selection of exceptional cottons and linens, from poplin to silky twill,
not forgetting more textured and robust materials such as oxford or pinpoint.

We are here to guide and inspire you in choosing the ideal fabric, depending on how you intend to use your shirt.
Our selection is continuously updated and includes several thousand references.

The price of a custom-made shirt depends on the fabric, starting from 250 - 350€. For any order of four shirts, we are pleased to offer you the fifth one for free.

There is a five-week lead time from the order date before the fitting. During the fitting, we check the measurements and the cut.
Any alterations are then carried out by our in-house workshop, directly attached to the boutique.

Creating your shirt

With a multitude of collar styles, cuffs, and other stylistic choices, the possibilities are endless. Whether you are looking for a formal shirt or a casual version, every detail receives special attention. Depending on your body shape, and the desired fit and style, we take your measurements using try-on shirts. This step allows you to better visualize the final result and confirm the comfort of your future garment.

Shirt collar

It is undoubtedly the most expressive element of a shirt. We have a strong preference for generous collars, with points long enough to fit elegantly under the lapel of your jacket. We offer a wide range of shapes suitable for every occasion and shirt style.

Italian collar (spread), English collar (tab collar), button-down collar, or pin collar. From the one-piece collar to the wing collar, our options are numerous. To delve deeper into the details, the collar can be made with more or less flexibility, with fixed or removable stays.

Wrists

The style of cuffs defines the degree of formality of your outfit. French cuffs (double cuffs) are most suitable for formal shirts or formal wear with cufflinks.

Conversely, the single-button cuff is perfect for everyday use. You will find a wide variety of shapes in our range, from classic finishes to "Western" style cuffs for your denim shirts.

The front and back of the shirt

The button placket is not only there to button your shirt, but also to guide the eye towards the collar. Choose a plain placket for a formal shirt and a double placket or a popover for a more sporty and casual shirt.

If you want a rather loose shirt, opt for a box pleat at the back, which will provide more comfort in your movements as well as a sportier look. On the contrary, if you prefer a more fitted shirt, opt for a plain back, without darts. We have a wide choice of details to adapt to all requests.

Pocket details

Whether simple or elaborate, pockets add a touch of character to casual shirts. The patch pocket is a classic choice for an Oxford button-down shirt. For heavier flannels, a buttoned flap pocket will add a utilitarian and rugged touch. Don't hesitate to be creative according to your wishes.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

BLACK TIE

The front of a tuxedo shirt can be made with a pleated bib or a contrasting cotton pique (called Marcella). This bib can be rounded or square, and designed to accommodate studs or classic buttons, whether visible or hidden under a fly front.

ENTIRELY HANDMADE SHIRT

We offer the creation of a shirt entirely handmade. In this configuration, every step of the manufacturing process — down to the buttonholes — is carried out by a single artisan. This exceptional service is available for an additional €200.
