Alligator Leather and Black Goatskin Wallet – Ardent

Our Ardent two-material wallet, made of alligator and black goatskin, is part of Ardentes Clipei's Leather Goods collection.

We now offer our version of the wallet in alligator and black goatskin. We chose a wallet with a height of 18.5 cm and a folded width of 9 cm, which allows it to be easily slipped into the inside pocket of your suit while still holding all your cards.

The seven pockets on each side of the wallet allow for the storage of numerous cards while maintaining a slim and lightweight profile. The four large side pockets will also be useful for storing your banknotes or any other documents.

This leather, sourced from Mississippi alligator skins, is a prestigious exotic leather known for its distinctive rectangular pattern and prized for its unique texture, durability, and luxurious appeal. It offers an exclusive combination of natural beauty, exceptional resistance, and refined texture.

The entirely handmade manufacturing in Italy demonstrates artisanal savoir-faire and ensures exceptional quality and durability thanks to saddle stitching. Performed exclusively by hand with two needles attached to the ends of a single waxed thread, saddle stitching is a very resistant sewing method.

The Craftsmanship
Born in the heart of Italy, our leather accessories are made in an artisan workshop stemming from a passion for an ancient art, now threatened with extinction.

The entire production phase is carried out by hand, without the use of any machines. Each piece is entirely shaped by a single artisan. An exceptional process that guarantees a consistency, mastery, and attention to detail that few workshops can offer today. Each creation is made using the saddle stitch technique, which is a strictly manual two-needle sewing technique that uses a single thread for greater strength and better integrity over time.

For a long time, we wanted to offer handmade leather goods with a simplistic design. Together, we developed the idea of a slightly larger card holder and a long wallet, made from leathers that will develop a patina over time.

In the production process, ethics are of great importance; for this reason, all materials used comply with pre-established environmental parameters. Only by-products are used, meaning there is no specific production of leather for these items; they all come from the food industry. For exotic skins, in accordance with species protection regulations, only registered and CITES-certified skins are used.
