Black Grained Goatskin Card Holder – Ardent

Our Ardent black grained full-grain goatskin card holder is part of the Ardentes Clipei Leather Goods collection.

We are now offering our version of the black grained goatskin card holder. We opted for a card holder with a height of 8.2 cm and a width of 10.5 cm, allowing it to easily slip into the inner pocket of your suit while also holding all your cards.

The three side pockets on each side of the card holder facilitate the storage of numerous cards while maintaining a certain lightness.

We chose this full-grain goatskin, tanned in France, for its natural texture, durability, and refined character.

The manufacturing, entirely handcrafted in Italy, demonstrates artisanal expertise and ensures exceptional quality and durability thanks to saddle stitching. Performed exclusively by hand with two needles attached to the ends of the same waxed thread, saddle stitching is a very strong sewing method.

The production
Born in the heart of Italy, our leather accessories are made in an artisan workshop, stemming from a passion for an ancient art, now threatened with disappearance.

The entire production phase is carried out by hand, without the use of any machines. Each piece is entirely crafted by a single artisan. An exceptional process that guarantees consistency, mastery, and attention to detail that few workshops can offer today. Each creation is made using the saddle stitch technique, which is a strictly manual two-needle sewing technique that uses a single thread for greater strength and better integrity over time.

For a long time, we wanted to offer handmade leather goods with a simplistic design. Together, we developed the idea of a slightly larger card holder and a long wallet, made from leathers that will develop a patina over time.

Ethics are of great importance in the production process; for this reason, all materials used comply with pre-established environmental parameters. Only by-products are used, meaning there is no specific production of leather for the items; rather, they all come from the food industry. For exotic leathers, in accordance with species protection regulations, only CITES-registered and certified leathers are used.
