Cuffs – the trousers have an unfinished hem so you can choose between a plain hem or a 3, 4 or 5cm cuff. We do the cuffs in our workshop in Paris or we ship the trousers unhemmed, so they can be shortened by a tailor near you to your desired length.

Buttons for braces inside the waistband are added upon request.

The strongest and most versatile fabric for dress trousers is Cavalry Twill. The Cavalry Twill from Dugdale Bros & Co comes from the Invincible bunch and lives up to its name. This shade of grey Cavalry Twill, reference INV034, is a medium grey that, being a neutral color, goes with absolutely everything.

Woven from 100% wool at 480g, we consider Cavalry Twill to be a three-season fabric suitable for autumn, winter, and spring. The loose fit of the trousers allows this relatively heavy fabric to be worn comfortably in any season, except when the temperature exceeds 18 degrees, in which case only cotton, wool canvas, and linen will be suitable.

An English fabric that, as its name suggests, was originally designed for the Royal Cavalry to be strong yet elegant sportswear trousers. Woven in Bradford and then sent to our workshop in Italy, this fabric is simply excellent if you are looking for durable dress trousers – it is one of the most reliable pieces in our wardrobe.
