Service included
Cuffs – the trousers have an unfinished hem so you can choose between a plain hem or a 3, 4 or 5cm cuff. We create the cuffs in our workshop in Paris or we ship the trousers unhemmed, so they can be shortened by a tailor near you to the desired length.

Buttons for braces inside the waistband are added upon request.

The Navy Cavalry Twill Trousers – Ardent

Cavalry Twill or the best trouser fabric
The strongest and most versatile fabric for dress trousers is Cavalry Twill. Dugdale Bros & Co's Cavalry Twill comes from the Invincible bunch and lives up to its name. This shade of navy blue Cavalry Twill, reference INV040, is a classic deep navy blue. Softer than black, it is probably the most practical trouser color, matching most colors.

Woven from 100% wool at 480g, we consider Cavalry Twill a three-season fabric suitable for autumn, winter, and spring. The loose fit of the trousers allows this relatively heavy fabric to be worn comfortably in any season, except when the temperature exceeds 18 degrees, in which case only cotton, wool canvas, and linen will be suitable.

An English fabric that, as its name suggests, was originally designed for the royal cavalry to be a strong and elegant sporting trouser. Woven in Bradford, then sent to our workshop in Italy, this fabric is simply excellent if you are looking for durable and dressy trousers – it is one of the most reliable pieces in our wardrobe.
