The most suitable fabric for trousers during warmer seasons is the linen and wool blend, designed in collaboration between Maison Hellard and Huddersfield – the renowned Fresco wool manufacturer.

Our preferred choice on the market, this blend comes from the Carnet de Voyage bunch.

Woven by Huddersfield Fine Worsteds, this fabric, reference HU02, is in a textured beige that pairs well with a multitude of colors, both light and dark.

Woven from 50% linen and 50% Fresco wool at 330g, we consider the Fresco Linen and Wool blend to be a two-season fabric, suitable for both spring and summer. The generous cut of the trousers allows this supple and lightweight fabric to be worn comfortably during the warmer months. The combination of Fresco wool and linen creates a unique, low-maintenance fabric with minimal creasing. Woven in Huddersfield, this fabric is simply excellent if you are looking for smart, summer trousers that don't wrinkle easily.

Maison Hellard is a young French textile company founded in 2021 by Nathan Hellard. Specializing in the production of linen fabrics, the company distinguishes itself by using linen grown in Normandy and woven in Italy. Its collections, such as the "Carnet de Voyage," tell a story of a sober and masculine aesthetic inspired by the landscapes of southwestern France, and cater to tailors and enthusiasts of refined sartorial style.
