Simonnot Godard pocket squares

The Simonnot Godard company was founded in 1787 by Mr. Beaurain. In 1869, Auguste Godard sold the company to his son-in-law, Victor Simonnot-Godard. To this day, the company remains in the hands of the same family. It gradually specialized in high-quality fabrics characterized by a very luxurious fineness.

The patterns used by Simonnot Godard are exclusively woven, not printed, unlike most silk pocket squares. All edges are hand-rolled. Manufacturing is carried out from start to finish in France, something unique today.

All handkerchiefs or pocket squares are made of cotton, but woven in such a way as to suggest they are silk. Cotton is stiffer than silk.
