One of the most elegant formal outfits for a wedding is the morning coat, also known as a tailcoat.

In its most traditional form, we have crafted our morning coat from three contrasting fabrics: a charcoal grey morning coat, a double-breasted cream white waistcoat, and grey striped trousers.

Generally reserved for events such as weddings or other official ceremonies, the morning coat has a distinguished shape.

The long jacket is rounded at the front and features a distinctive tailcoat back and a high waist. It is a formal suit primarily worn during the daytime.

Fabric – Vitale Barberis Canonico
Founded in 1663 in Biella, Vitale Barberis Canonico, now in the hands of the thirteenth generation of the family, is one of the oldest and most prestigious fabric manufacturers in the world. Light enough for warm summer months, this fabric can also be worn year-round in France.

We chose this wool for its subtle texture and versatility, ensuring better breathability and fewer wrinkles. The grey of the jacket combined with the cream white of the waistcoat and the pinstripes of the trousers provide perfect complementarity.

Full Canvas Construction
Our three-piece Morning Coat features full canvas construction and is made in Italy in the same workshop where all our custom pieces are produced.

A middle layer located between the fabric and the lining of the jacket, the canvas gives structure to the suit. A sign of both quality and artisanal craftsmanship, full canvas construction guarantees an optimal drape of the garment. A full canvas also ensures greater durability for the suit.
