Material & sustainability
Made from 100% Scottish lambswool. Lambswool is exceptionally soft and downy, does not itch and is comfortable enough to wear on your bare skin. Lambswool comes from the first shearing and is the softest wool attainable from sheep. Wool is a naturally durable fiber and ideal for the colder months. It’s resistant, warm, breathable and thermoregulating. There are so many advantages of wool, it’s completely natural, renewable and biodegradable, from sheep that just need grass, water and sunshine.

Warm & breathable
A natural insulator, wool will let your skin breathe as opposed to synthetic fibers. Because of wool’s natural texture, small air pockets form between the fiber that can trap and release heat, allowing the wool to maintain the wearer’s body temperature. Wool is not waterproof but naturally water repellent. It can absorb one-third of its weight without becoming wet and thanks to the texture of the outer layer of the wool fiber water drops will be wicked off the surface.

RWS certified
Wool is a truly remarkable material and outpaces any synthetic fiber with regards to comfort, health and sustainability. The fiber is comfortable because it breathes and regulates temperature naturally. It is naturally hypoallergenic, meaning allergy friendly. Wool is 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. Wool, by nature, is a circular fiber.

The wool we use comes from a renowned family run supplier in Scotland which dates back to the 18th century and adheres to the RWS standards. The Responsible wool standard addresses the welfare of sheep and the land they graze on. It ensures that wool comes from farms that have a progressive approach to managing their land, practice holistic respect for animal welfare of the sheep and respect the Five Freedoms of animal welfare.
